After coverage in the local press in February 26, the City Council were asked to review the safety of Palm Court Island (the junction of the A6 and A38 in Allestree).
No changes have been made to the island and the Derby Telegraph have again (Nov 26) reported on the issues which remain a danger to pedestrians, cyclists and users of mobility aids.

It’s disappointing to see that the City Council (as quoted in the Derby Telegraph article) have already made a number of excuses as to why things can’t be improved.
