Bicycle Security events for Bike Week

A ‘Bicycle Security Surgery’ will take place 5-7pm each eve, from 17/6/13 to 21/6/13 at Derby Railway Station Forecourt, near the Falco bike stands. Petition to get government to improve cycling

The All Party parliamentary cycling group has published a report entitled “Get Britain Cycling” (report can be accessed here) which makes a number of recommendations to improve cycling. The focus is now on getting the government to implement the recommendations – help with this by signing the petition by clicking on this link.

Free British Cycling ride leader training

British Cycling (in conjunction with SkyRide) are offering free ride leader training at various venues across the country (including Derby). Dates for Derby are6  April & 22 June. If you are interested, you should visit the site . There is a commitment to lead some rides after your training.
