Pedals (Nottingham’s cycle campaigning group) have proposed that a new cycle and pedestrian bridge over the River Trent should be considered by the local authorities including the East Midlands Mayor (EMCCA).
This would be in the area of Trent Lock and Ratcliffe-on-Soar power station. More details in this document.
Very early days yet but Derby Cycling Group are, in principle, supportive of the proposals. The campaign to progress this will be led by Pedals.
