We’re pleased see funding in place to investigate improvements to the Asda island in Spondon. In particular, improvements to the currently dangerous crossings of the existing cycle routes over the roads will be welcomed.
In order that the main issues are identified prior to the detailed design progressing too far we’re keen to engage with the Derby City Council transport planners.
Tony Roelich is leading the anticipated DCG involvement in the project. Support is also requested from local DCG members who may be able to influence their local councillors.
