We’re pleased to see that the Nutbrook Trail (NCN 67) through New Stanton Park has just (16th July 2026) reopened after a year of campaigning to get the developers to meet their planning obligations and for Erewash Borough Council to actually enforce the agreed planning conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now that the route is open it is a big improvement on the old route as it removes a dangerous junction where users of the route had to mix with lots of heavy lorries. The new route is totally off toad and built with a good quality surface and width.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
