This is called the draft Core Strategy and is available at this <a style=\"color: #336699; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/derbycyclinggroup.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=0e38df9e6b2672ef189829070&amp;id=be5127d3a2&amp;e=0856f94004\" target=\"_self\">link<\/a>.<br \/>\nIt includes maps of proposed housing development, maybe including your neighbourhood. There are also policies covering various topics including cycling (see page 57 and onwards).<br \/>\nComments need to be sent in by December 20th.<br \/>\nPlease take a look and comment to the council (and copy to Tony Roelich, <a href=\"mailto:campaigns@derbycyclinggroup.org.uk\">campaigns@derbycyclinggroup.org.uk<\/a>, the DCG campaigns co-ordinator) with your thoughts on how the Core Strategy could be strengthened for cycling.<br \/>\nWe hope to circulate more on this (depending on what you tell us!) in a week or so.<br \/>\nVoicing support for cycling to the City Council will help remind the Council to &#8220;think cyclists&#8221; more often.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/derbycyclinggroup.org.uk\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Derby-Core-Strategy-2013-V1.doc\">Derby Core Strategy 2013 V1 <\/a>gives a flavour of the issues that DCG will be raising with the council.
