The DCG Annual General Meeting was held this week and included 2 special guests.
Firstly Bowmer & Kirkland were given a special award for their contribution to cycling safety arising from their organisation of the Changing Places Day in 2013. Sarah Millington attended the meeting to receive the award on behalf of Bowmer & Kirkland.
Secondly, Derek Latham of Latham Associates gave a very interesting talk on his views on cycling provision needs when planning urban environments as well as giving an overview of the plans for the Derwent Valley Cycleway.
Members attending the meeting seemed to find the presentations very interesting.
