Minutes of  meeting

Minutes of September meeting were agreed.

Actions Arising

Most to be covered by agenda. DC wrote to paper.

+ Members to bring a map of Derby.

Meeting Format

Meetings to be timed and formally finish at 9pm, agenda items to be timed.



Missing bike racks been found, relocated not missing.

National Customer Service week, EMT event, this week.

No news on velodrome and closed road circuit which is a good thing.

New Sec of State letter, DC to print letter for Tony.

Haslams Lane

Woman has broken hip n ribs.

+IA to reply suggest Street Pride, tis part of Route 54,

+ DC bring to James Lowe attention and also Transport sub group of Darley Board.

Reporting problems with the network

+ TR to produce standard letter who to report the problem to etc. Then to go onto the website.

Mickleover Etwall Path

Path not been done but was promised Sept!!!

Student Volunteer Fair

Nov 7th sign up all dayer.


Nothing  more, send one in October 2012

TR has sent article re John Palmer.

+ DC to write articles on Pedal Powered Party and EMCF.

Deadline is very soon, i.e. NOW.


Cathy to pop in this Friday.

Low on membership cards. Not urgent this month, lets think about it. Discuss next time communication strategy ie emailing.


Pedal powered party went very well.

EMCF meeting in Chesterfield. New Govt white paper on transport, get groups to write. Leicester Cycle Campaign Group started.

Sustrans Rangers ride to Etwall, made £170 profit.

October 13th An Economy for 99% Sat

October 20th Soundbites Real Food Day.

Rides Meeting

Didn’t happen in the end IA turned up but sadly no one else did!!!

CTC/ Cycle Nation conference, October July 13th in Bristol.
